Thanks for participating in the Miss Loganville Sweetheart Pageant! THIS LETTER CONTAINS VERY IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR YOU AS A CONTESTANT. Please read it in its entirety.
The pageant will be held Saturday, March 14 at Loganville High School, 100 Trident Trail, Loganville, Georgia 30052.
AGE GROUPS AND PAGEANT TIMES
10:30 AM PAGEANT (arrive no later than 10 a.m.)
Baby Miss: 0-23 months
Little Miss: 2-3 years
Young Miss: 4-6 years
12:30 PM PAGEANT (arrive no later than 12 p.m.)
Junior Miss: 10-12 years
Teen Miss: 13-14 years
Miss: 15-18 years
PAGEANT ARRIVAL
The doors will open at 9:30 a.m. Please arrive no later than 30 minutes prior to the start of your pageant time. Upon arrival, please go to the contestant desk to check in, get your number, and turn in your picture for Miss Photogenic (optional.)
PAGEANT ADMISSIONS
Contestants do not pay admissions. Pageant admissions for everyone else is $5.00. Please let your family and friends know of the admissions ahead of time.
PAGEANT REHEARSAL
There will be an optional pageant rehearsal on Friday, March 13 from 5-7 p.m. at Loganville High School. This will be in a "walk-through" format, and contestants can come at any time between 5-7 p.m. to practice on the stage. Contestants are encouraged to come to the rehearsal. There will not be any run-through on the day of the pageant.
DRESSING ROOMS
There will be a dressing room available for contestants. Please make sure to pick up all your belongings after the pageant. NO FOOD OR DRINKS ARE ALLOWED IN DRESSING ROOM OR BACKSTAGE. Only one parent per child is allowed in the dressing room to assist.
ESCORTS
Contestants in the Baby Miss and Little Miss divisions should be walked on stage by a parent. Contestants in the Young Miss division can choose to be walked by a parent on stage or be escorted onto the stage by one of our official pageant escorts and walk the rest of the way alone. There will be no points added/taken away whether the contestants walk alone or with a parent.
Contestants in the Junior, Teen and Miss age divisions will be escorted by our official pageant escorts onto the stage.
MOST PROMISING MODEL
Exciting news! One contestant from the Junior, Teen or Miss divisions will receive the MOST PROMISING MODEL award, and will receive a $3,000 scholarship to Barbizon School of Modeling! This is good for free modeling/acting classes valued at $3,000 at either of the two Georgia Barbizon facilities. A model scout from Barbizon will be on-site. The Director will select the winner based on modeling ability, photos, and personality. Winners will receive the $3,000 modeling scholarship, and a framed award certificate.
MISS PHOTOGENIC
You may enter as many photos as you like, $5 each, to be considered for this award. Bring pictures to check in when you arrive at the pageant. You can pick your pictures up at the end of your pageant segment at the contestant desk. Winners will receive a photogenic sash and gift bag.
CONCESSIONS
No outside food or drink is allowed. The Loganville Middle School PTO will be running a concession stand during the pageant.
PAGEANT PHOTOS
Roger Cannon Photography will be on-site to take formal portraits on a lovely background, and candid shots of each contestant while she is on stage. Photo packages are as follows:

SPORTSMANSHIP
We are dedicated to providing a fun and friendly atmosphere where every contestant feels like a winner. We want the contestant's natural beauty to shine. No fake hair, spray on tans, etc. Age appropriate make-up only. These tips are in reference to age appropriateness. (For example, older girls can groom as they wish, age appropriately.) Bad sportsmanship will not be tolerated! All judges decisions are final.
